The Audit Specialist I ensures that all Workers Compensation and General Liability interim and final audit premiums are accurately calculated.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required

Strong mathematical competence and organizational detail required

Bookkeeping / Accounting experience 2 years, Preferred

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to ramp up quickly with accuracy, understanding necessary computer programs and systems

Responsibilities:
Accurately calculating audit term premiums and inputting information into required systems.

Conduct comprehensive research, utilizing available resources for analysis

Utilizes thorough and applicable detail oriented audit practices

Process productive and non productive audits for voluntary and assigned risk markets

Communicate and obtain necessary documentation from clients/agents/underwriters to justify revisions and/or audit/policy discrepancies

Compile audit information and correction(s) to auditors worksheets

Compose and mail letters regarding billing to insured
