Communications and Training Lead

For more information, please visit: Responsibilities The individual will work closely with project management, the project team leads, client stakeholders, and the project communications and training staff in establishing and operating and maintaining the project change management function for an enterprise technology implementation. This includes developing communications and change management plans, establishing and operating communications and change management processes on the project to include crafting and coordinating communications about the project to stakeholders across the organization, developing role-based training for stakeholders, coordinating training logistics, and delivering training. This also includes developing and maintaining a centralized communications hub for the enterprise technology implementation on SharePoint. The individual is responsible for the overall management of the project communications and training tasks, schedule, work products, and deliverables. The individual will apply leading organizational change management practices and they will coach others on the team involved in communications and training for the enterprise technology implementation, including the communications and change management analyst. The individual will actively participate in various project meetings, stakeholder briefings, and executive briefings related to the change management workstream accomplishments, overall progress, and risks/issues. Qualifications Required: + 7 years of experience leading organizational change management initiatives for enterprise technology implementations, including 3-4 years of experience consulting to the US Federal government + Bachelor’s degree is contractually required + US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance are contractually required + Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) or other relevant change management certification + Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and other software supporting user training and communications + Experience using SharePoint in supporting communications and training portals + Experience engaging with clients of varying levels to gather, document, prioritize, and analyze organizational change management business requirements + Experience supervising and developing staff on client services projects involving organizational change management + Experience managing and reporting on organizational change management initiatives + Experience applying leading organizational change management practices on enterprise technology implementation projects Preferred: + Demonstrated ability to lead teams on organizational change management projects for enterprise technology implementations, including establishing and maintaining a collaborative, high functioning team environment + Demonstrated ability to use effective user learning techniques to promote adult learning over technology solutions + Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills, including demonstrated ability to offer solutions and articulate the business impact to clients in a clear and concise manner + Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks + Experience with various web-based training platforms for developing and delivering training to end users, i.e., Big Marker, Adobe Connect, + Demonstrated ability to resolve issues/conflicts as a leader and manage client relationships + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to communicate with clients in an organized and knowledgeable manner + Experience working in Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, and/or Department of Defense government agency information technology environment a plus Additional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
