Quality Assurance Editor (OTED)

We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Editor to join our team.

The Quality Assurance Editor will primarily support the Director of Transition Programs Administration.

The QA Editor will provide proofreading, technical writing and editing support on reports, presentations and program documentation.

The QA Editor will support development of training materials for OTED.

This position may be filled at the CATHEXIS office near Washington, DC, or remotely from any location in the United States.

Support the preparation of reports and other program documentation related to the TAP contract management oversight
Provide proofreading, technical writing, and editing support
Support development of the instruction and training materials package, including but not limited to slide presentations, classroom activities, worksheets/handouts, and instructor and participant guides
Produce revised Instruction and Training Materials Package, including but not limited to slide presentations, classroom activities, worksheet/handouts and instructor guides and participant guides for in-person, virtual, and eLearning content
Examine content for logic, clarity, and consistency of messaging across projects
Ensuring adherence to VA style guides
Performing technical quality assurance to verify functionality of videos and online simulations
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS)
Minimum five years of experience providing technical writing, editing, and proofreading support
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and SharePoint
Able to obtain a minimum of NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) for a Veterans Affairs Public Trust Clearance
Strong written and oral communication skills
Team player who is a flexible, self-starter with strong attention to detail
Attends to details in deliverable production, customer interaction and action tracking
Can consult with others in an effective and polite manor
Assumes ownership and responsibility for assigned actions and/or tasks
Desired Skills:
Government contracting experience
DoD and VA experience as a contractor or otherwise
Former military experience
